AMB in Stuttgart is one of the most important industry meeting points for metalworking for MAS. In 2026, the company will use the trade fair not only to present individual products, but to provide a complete view of modern machining processes. At the heart of this is a clear belief: good results are not achieved by the tool alone, but by the interaction of tooling, process, people and knowledge.
Under the guiding theme “Chips fall. Solutions remain.”, MAS will show what the company has stood for for more than 50 years: precision tooling systems, process-oriented consulting, deep manufacturing expertise and solutions that prove themselves in everyday production.
Tooling designed as a system
One focus of the trade fair presentation will be toolholder systems and cutting tools from a single source. MAS develops and manufactures both areas so that they are technically aligned with one another. This creates solutions in which geometries, interfaces and applications do not have to be adapted afterwards, but are designed together from the outset.
At AMB, MAS will present the GND grooving system with targeted internal coolant supply, the PZ©turn quick-change system with 5 µm repeatability and MEX©turn for multi-spindle machines, among other solutions. MAS Carbide will also present its own CBN cutting materials for hard machining.
Industry solutions from real-world practice
Alongside the tooling itself, the process takes center stage. At AMB, MAS will present specific applications from the automotive, medical technology and engineering sectors. Visitors will see not only the finished tool, but the complete path from the manufacturing challenge to the machined component.
In the automotive sector, MAS will present a complete machining solution for valve seat machining. MEX©turn, IN©turn CBN, CBN reamers and DIA burnishing tools work together as a coordinated system. The goal: a reproducible valve seat that provides reliable sealing, is produced without impermissible turning marks and can be set up reliably using a scalable toolholder system.
In medical technology, MAS Carbide brings grinding expertise from high-performance tool manufacturing into the production of the smallest precision components. Especially in implants, surface quality, accuracy of fit and reproducible series quality determine the performance of the final product.
For engineering applications, MAS will present solutions for machining a hydraulic connector. Form grooving inserts, PZ©turn and PSI©turn are combined in such a way that the cost per part is measurably reduced in high-volume production.
Service with a face and a name
Machining is technical. Good consulting remains personal. That is why MAS will also put the people behind the solutions center stage at AMB. Anyone asking a specific question at the booth will not encounter an anonymous product presentation, but specialists with clearly defined areas of expertise.
Consulting ranges from the analysis of existing manufacturing processes and the selection of suitable tooling systems to optimization directly on site. At MAS, service is therefore not seen as an add-on to the product, but as an integral part of the solution.
50 years of experience. Now available in seconds.
Another focus of the trade fair presentation will be the MAS AI assistant. The digital tool makes machining expertise more quickly accessible. It knows cutting data, answers process-related questions and provides support outside regular core business hours.
At AMB, MAS will demonstrate live how the AI assistant can be used in everyday manufacturing. In doing so, the company combines decades of practical experience with a new level of availability: knowledge that is not only stored in people’s heads, but can be accessed exactly when it is needed.
Visit MAS at AMB 2026
AMB 2026 will take place in Stuttgart from 15 to 19 September 2026. On site, MAS will show how tooling, processes, personal expertise and digital knowledge come together to create solutions that stand the test of production.
