In May 1981, Sumiden Hartmetall GmbH was founded in Erkrath. In the same year, the cooperation between Sumitomo and MAS began. The idea of using standard inserts from Sumitomo for our tool holder has continued to this day and was the basis for a successful cooperation. Today we are one of the largest trading partners of Sumitomo. 40 years, a long history! To show this story a little bit, we have created a slideshow with special moments of the last decades. Enjoy.
